Request Call Authorization

Use this feature to request additional labor, parts or mileage for an assigned repair after the initial evaluation has been completed.  

NOTE:

Request Authorization online before continuing a service call—otherwise, unapproved or unfiled requests may impact whether you are paid the claim amount.

NOTE:

It is very important to view your Request for Authorization after it has been processes by the manufacturer to see what amounts have been approved, adjusted or denied.

 

  1. To create a new authorization request, or to check on an existing request, click Service Calls, then Request Call Authorization.

    The Request List or Create a New Request screen appears.

  1. Select a manufacturer from the dropdown list, enter the call number if you know it, and click Search.

    To view every authorization request filed, change the drop down box Status choice to All, and click Search.

    Available call numbers are listed at the bottom the screen.

  2. Click the Call Number hyperlink for the call to request authorization for.

  3. The Request Details screen appears.

 

 

  1. Supply the required information in all the fields necessary.  (Scroll down to see all the  information fields you may need to populate.)

  2. Click Submit Request.

    The authorization request is sent for review.   

    When your authorization has been approved or declined you will receive an email directing you back to this page for the results.
