ELECTROLUX MAJOR APPLIANCES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

BY ACCEPTING THIS DISPATCH, YOU AGREE THAT NO EMPLOYEE WITH A THEFT-RELATED CONVICTION, SEX-RELATED CONVICTION, CONVICTION FOR A CRIME VIOLENT IN NATURE, OR FELONY DRUG-RELATED CONVICTION SHALL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER A RESIDENCE.

 

1. Independent Contractor – The Service Provider understands and agrees that it is, and always will be an independent contractor, and nothing may in any way be construed so as to constitute service provider as an employee, representative, joint venture, partner, or agent of Electrolux Major Appliances (herein referred to as Electrolux). Service Provider does not have the right or authority to act for Electrolux, or assume, incur, or create any obligation, liability, or responsibility, express or implied, in the name of, on behalf of, or to bind Electrolux in any manner whatsoever. Service Provider accepts all obligations of any kind, express or implied, with respect to the conduct of any of it’s personnel in carrying out their obligations and duties to Electrolux and consumers requiring product service.

 

2. Indemnification – Service Provider covenants and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Electrolux, it’s corporate parent, affiliates, officers, directors and employees (collectively Electrolux Major Appliances), free and harmless from any and all losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, and damages for bodily injury, damage to property, or breach of contract, arising out of the service, replacement, installation or repair of Products for which it has accepted a service dispatch from Electrolux, provided, however the within indemnification applies only to acts of omissions of, or defective workmanship by, Service Provider, its employees, representatives, contractors, and agents.      

 

3. Service Performance – Service Provider agrees to contact consumer to schedule service, replacement, installation or repair within 24-hours of receiving the service dispatch request.  IMPORTANT:  If, for any reason, you are not going to service this dispatch, you must update the Service Request status online; otherwise, you are expected to run the call and file a claim, if the product is in warranty. The consumer may be sent a Quality of Service Survey to evaluate overall service received.

 

4. Service Provider Warranty – The Service Provider shall warrant it’s work for sixty days as defined in your contract with Electrolux, from the date of service completion for each product serviced, installed or repaired.

 

5. Service Literature – All service documentation can be accessed at www.emaservicetips.com. Basic product information and specifications can be accessed at www.frigidaire.com for Frigidaire brand products and www.electroluxappliances.com for Electrolux brand products.

 

6. Mileage – The Service Provider is expected to service a twenty mile radius from it’s place of business. Reimbursement for travel beyond forty miles round-trip traveled to complete consumer repairs is defined in your contract.  To request reimbursement for travel beyond the limits defined in your contract, contact your RSQM or the Servicer Assistance Center (866-646-6810 option 3).

 

7. Claim Submission – The Service Provider has sixty days, as defined in their contract with Electrolux, to submit a claim for payment.  If no claim is received within sixty days of its dispatch, Electrolux is under no obligation for payment.  File claims online at www.servicepower.com for prompt processing. 

 

8. Ordering Parts – All parts required for in-warranty repairs on Electrolux brand appliances must be ordered directly from an authorized parts distributor.

 

9.  Labor Rate – Please refer to your Service Contract for rates. To request a higher labor rate before additional service is performed or completed, contact your RSQM or the Servicer Assistance Center (866-646-6810 option 3).
